MW architectuur supervised the renovation of this workers' house along the Utrechtse Jaagpad.
The house is part of a row of houses along the Utrechtse Jaagpad and was built around 1900.
Over the years, the houses have been considerably carpentered and extended. The question was how to expand this house even further when the clients presented their wishes.
MW architectuur proposed to extend the existing attic by enlarging the roof in style. In addition, the dark courtyard at the back has been closed and - equipped with a large roof light - has been added to the house. This has created a spacious and light kitchen diner.
